At PRAZEWORKS Digital, we have had the privilege of working with Jubilee Church Grantham for over seven years, supporting their digital presence and ensuring their website remains an effective tool for communication and engagement. Recently, we embarked on a second major revision of their website, transitioning from Visual Composer to a more streamlined, modern, and efficient setup using Gutenberg and Kadence WP.
The Challenge
The previous website, while functional, relied on Visual Composer, which had become increasingly cumbersome to manage. The client wanted a refreshed design that was easier to update, more performant, and optimised for modern browsing experiences. Additionally, key integrations such as ChurchSuite for event management needed to be retained while improving the overall user experience.
Our Approach
To ensure a smooth transition and deliver a high-performing website, we implemented the following solutions:
- Built with WordPress & Kadence WP – We utilised the powerful and lightweight Kadence WP framework to enhance site speed, accessibility, and design flexibility.
- Gutenberg Block Editing – Moving away from Visual Composer, we adopted WordPress’s native block editor (Gutenberg), allowing for easier content updates and better long-term maintainability.
- ChurchSuite Integration – To keep event listings dynamic and easy to manage, we seamlessly integrated ChurchSuite, enabling Jubilee Church Grantham to display up-to-date calendar events directly on their website.
- SEO & Performance Optimisation – Implemented the Yoast SEO plugin to enhance search visibility and ensure the website follows best practices for indexing and ranking.
- Fully Responsive Design – Optimised the layout and content to deliver a seamless experience across all devices, ensuring accessibility for desktop, tablet, and mobile users.
Ongoing Support & Maintenance
To safeguard the website’s long-term performance and security, we continue to provide:
- WordPress Aftercare Package – Regular security updates, plugin management, and testing to maintain website integrity and functionality.
- Technical Support – Assistance with troubleshooting, content updates, and general site management as needed.
The Results
The newly revamped website delivers a faster, more user-friendly experience, making it easier for both visitors and church administrators to navigate and update. With enhanced SEO, seamless event management, and a responsive design, Jubilee Church Grantham is now equipped with a digital presence that effectively supports their ministry and community outreach.
